DFS Standard Equipment

DFS has been in the ship-handling business for many years and we therefore have a vast experience in products that are used on board. During the last years we have developed our routines, both in regards to handling orders as well as delivering products to customers. We have together with our customers identified certain returning problems:

• Difficulties with stock keeping onboard.
• Problems with Insufficient statistics and shift work among the crew.

We decided to find a solution to these problems, and together with some of our customers we have developed DFS Standard Equipment.

The DFS Standard Equipment is an article selection developed from the most frequently consumed articles onboard a merchant vessel. Together with many of our customers we have selected the products that should be included in the assortment. The assortment in the DFS Standard Equipment is continuously evaluated to keep it up to date.

We will keep the articles that are included in the DFS Standard Equipment in stock so that we can deliver the customers orders as soon as possible. Because the articles in DFS Standard Equipment are carefully selected and kept in stock, we have been able to negotiate prices and deliveries with our suppliers. Due to arranged routines in handling the articles, we will be able to reduce the administrative workload for our suppliers, customers and ourselves. Altogether can we therefore give an additional discount on all DFS Standard Equipment orders.
